Show Highlig
In today’s solo episode, we are discussing a common issue that comes up for new coaches. It encompasses the whole realm of our money mindset, valuing what we offer to clients, and packaging our services, and it can be a difficult journey to navigate when you are starting out in your quest for coaching certification. Join me to learn ways to build your expertise and confidence as you find balance in what works best for you.
Show Highlights:
● Tips for finding clients:
○ Don’t overlook the value in coaching other coaches.
○ Consider small businesses in your area that might barter their services in exchange for coaching. (Have very clear agreements about the exchange.)
○ Draw on your experience with people who already know, like, and trust you–and people they can refer to you.
○ Reach out to organizations that you were associated with in the past and let them know what you’re doing in coaching.
● Tips for packaging your services:
○ Focus on the length of the engagement and your availability to the client.
○ Find the balance between what you can comfortably charge and what you will offer to the client.
○ Create your packages based on the partnership between you and the client.
○ Think about your “between-session” availability and other resources you’ll offer.
○ Consider the specialized packages you can offer that make you stand out from the competition and offer additional value to clients.
● Remember that you are bringing your experience and your value to each session.
● Be confident about what you are charging to bring value and change to your clients.
